Welcome to my thoughts as I write a roadmap for the future of my daughters.

My goal as a single father is to direct my two girls towards the path of developing as confident, educated and refined professional young ladies. My girls can learn from my mistakes as well as achievements. They will be thought only because I did it, it doesn’t mean is always right. I’m merely providing them a roadmap to their future. They can listen and learn what I’m teaching, improving upon it as they gain a better understanding of the world around them. 

Always reminding them to focus in finding their inner peace. The key to happiness I strongly believe is in the words “find your inner peace”; yet it is not easy because most people don’t know how to find it. Once the inner peace is figured out, it becomes the center of once life and you will make decision around it to assure it continues to flourish.

So why a blog? I learned a very valuable lesson after my father passed away. When he departed our world, he took with him all of the knowledge which he had gathered throughout his life. I then decided a way to assure my girls continue to receive guidance even after I depart this world is by leaving behind a written roadmap to their future. But what format was I to use – a blog seemed the most promising for the following reasons:

Developing an open forum format will allow feedback to the roadmap, therefore increasing the value in teaching power.

Daddy’s Thoughts will be a legacy left behind for others to read.

I’m hoping my action in developing “Daddy’s Thoughts” encourages other parents to write their own roadmap for their children.

My experiences along with other contributors may provide some guidance to readers.

Most of my career has been in the area of sales and marketing. The blog content is mostly based on my over 20 years experience in sales and marketing. I’ve learned these experiences don’t just help one sell but may help when dealing in society in general. One needs to remember learning how to deal with people is key to managing your place in society.
